Ways to Keep Your House Cool and Cut Electrical Costs
My husband printed off an article that he found on the website of our electrical company. The article talks about air conditioning units and how it effects your Texas Electric Rates. I knew that we should try to run the unit as little as possible to keep our bills low, but I had not thought about the other points that were brought out in the article. It reminded us that we should close the vents to rooms that do not need to be cooled and to make sure that we close the blinds on the windows to keep the beating sun from heating up the house to begin with.
